Thos who stayed at your hotel appreciated the historic feel combined with its hometown charm. By holding our three day event at your hotel, we were treated to marvelous meals throughout each day ranging from a hot breakfast to tasty midday snacks and delectable lunches. We thank you for opening on days that you typically are closed, for providing breakfast to our entire team, when you typically limit breakfasts to your overnight guests, and for providing our guests with the genuine sense of home town pride we have here in Tuolumne County.

We are on our way to Yosemite for a wedding and are so glad we decided to stop here on our way! The room was absolutely adorable and the breakfast was amazing! The housekeeper/cook is so sweet and welcoming. It was our first night staying at a hotel together!! Good memories to be sure. Today, we'll walk around Jamestown a bit and then head out for the wedding! Wish we could stay longer but we'll have to come back to visit our first hotel in the future!

I must say that as soon as I saw the outside of the hotel from down the block I felt at ease. Up the stairs brought me to comfortable and this room took me home. It may sound ridiculous, but I feel like this is my room - my home - where I live and where I've always been and where I should be. I can't really explain how I feel as I sit in this room. Relaxed. Sweet. Peaceful. Safe. Relieved. Accepting. Calm. Happy. Thoughtful.

This is the first 3 days of our honeymoon. We have had a blast. This room is beautiful. The bed just calls your name as well as the tub. We loved the staff here. They treat you as if they know you. The food was excellent as well. We couldn't have started our new life together any more romantic. Thank you Jamestown Hotel for the Champagne and the thoughtfullness.

I was just looking at pictures from our trip out your way and remembered I wanted to send an email to say thank you for a wonderful stay at the Jamestown. We spent 3 nights in the Jenny Lind room and ate dinner there 2 nights (you were closed on the third) and had breakfast once. A special thanks to Ellen for being so helpful and fun. Our only “complaint” (if you can call it that) was the selection at breakfast. My husband is a picky eater and doesn’t touch quiche or granola. He had the Belgian waffles the one morning but they weren’t his kind of breakfast (meat & potatoes man). No real problem, just a comment. Thanks again. We’ll certainly recommend you to friends. Doubt we’ll be back that way since we have so many more places on our list to visit but if we ever did, we’d stay with you again.

Yes, it was a WONDERFUL weekend! We very much enjoyed our stay - as we always have - at your Hotel! We enjoyed staying in the Lola Montez and Jenny Lind rooms - so much fun and comfort, too! The dinner was absolutely delicious and service was top-notch! Everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful - Ellen was GREAT! The play was super fun and well-done and we enjoyed ourselves immensely ... Joseph is one of my favorite stories! It was a delightful stay, Dawn. Our good friends also had a GREAT time and want to bring others to the Jamestown Hotel, too! I'm sorry that we missed you, as well. But, we'll be back and can hopefully meet you, then!
