2002 Syrah Served with Roasted duck breast with a dried apricot port reduction. This grape originated in the Fertile Crescent and migrated west to France. When grown in Calaveras County these grapes produce an inky dark wine rich with spice.

2003 “Eagle’s Nest” Petite Sirah Served Fire-kissed Andouille sausage atop a fiery cajun cream sauce. The grapes grown on a rocky ridge struggle to make this big and bold Petite Sirah. Everything about this wine is intense; from is deep purple color to its flavors of blueberries and blackberries framed by toasty oak.

2002 Clockspring Zinfandel Served with filet mignon tips enveloped in whiskey peppercorn sauce This is a wonderful example of the best of Amador Zins. It is intensely spicy with layers of blackberry and black pepper.
